Afternoon embaes!
Here I am, typing this on my brand new Macbook I still can’t quite believe I have my actual hands on. Whilst I’m continuing with my quest of downloading every sound patch and plugin under the sun and trying to organise 300+ voice memos of album 2 ideas, I thought I’d share some more memories from my old iMac instead of chatzae again this week.
Whilst last week I focussed on old gig and festival posters, I wanted to share some more general musical memories this time, including early rehearsals with my Simon Waldram and Autumn Dawn Leader, visits to BBC Radio Nottingham to see the lovely Dean Jackson and even some audio of my first ever performance as emzae, singing a cover of David Bowie’s ‘Changes’ at a multi-artist tribute concert to his career in 2016. Scroll to the bottom of this e-mail for that!
Chatzae returns next week, with the first one I’ve recorded on my new equipment. Expect a louder mic eventually! YAY!
Until then, look after yourselves and keep finding the pockets of joy.

The cover of Changes is great!
